Buy-side advisory to Alarko Group during Istanbul Atatürk Airport International Terminal’s operating rights tender

Alarko Group received buy-side advisory services in connection with the operating rights tender for Istanbul Atatürk Airport International Terminal. Istanbul Atatürk Airport International Terminal was one of Turkiye’s key aviation infrastructure assets and served as the main international passenger gateway for Istanbul. The tender process covered the operating rights of the terminal following the expiry of the previous build-operate-transfer concession period. Alarko Group is a diversified Turkiye-based group with activities across construction, energy, tourism and related sectors. Through the tender process, Alarko evaluated an opportunity to participate in the operation of a major airport infrastructure asset with significant passenger traffic, commercial revenue potential and strategic importance for Istanbul’s international connectivity.
