Buy-side advisory to Turusgaz, a Gazprom subsidiary, for the acquisition of Bursagaz during the privatization tender

Turusgaz, a Gazprom subsidiary, received buy-side advisory services in connection with the proposed acquisition of Bursagaz Bursa Şehiriçi Doğalgaz Dağıtım A.Ş. during its privatization tender process. Bursagaz is the natural gas distribution company serving Bursa, one of Turkiye’s major industrial cities. The company operates the local natural gas distribution network and provides regulated gas distribution services to residential, commercial and industrial customers across its licensed region. The privatization process formed part of Turkiye’s broader liberalization and privatization program in the natural gas distribution sector. Through the tender, Turusgaz evaluated an opportunity to enter the Turkish gas distribution market by acquiring a regulated local utility platform with an established customer base and significant industrial demand.
