Somló-Zsák Kender-Juta, a Hungary-based manufacturer of polypropylene woven packaging and big-bag products, has acquired a 75% stake in Tetsa, a Turkiye-based packaging company.
Tetsa operates in the industrial packaging market, with a focus on polypropylene woven packaging, big bags and related flexible bulk packaging products. The company provides packaging solutions used for the storage and transportation of bulk materials across industrial end-markets. Somló-Zsák Kender-Juta manufactures polypropylene fabrics, big bags and related packaging products, with a production history dating back to the late 19th century. Through the transaction, Somló-Zsák strengthened its production platform in Turkiye and expanded its position in flexible industrial packaging.
