Minority Sale of Kayalar Kimya to Bancroft PE and Acquisition of Düfa Turkiye

Kayalar Kimya, a leading Turkiye-based paints and coatings manufacturer, has acquired the remaining 50% stake in Düfa – Meffert from Meffert AG, a Germany-based international coatings company. Established in 2005 as a joint venture between Kayalar Kimya and Meffert AG, Düfa – Meffert operates in the decorative coatings market under the Düfa brand. The company offers decorative paint products supported by German technology and Kayalar Kimya’s local manufacturing, distribution and market know-how. Kayalar Kimya manufactures paints, varnishes and coatings across furniture, decorative and industrial end-markets. Through the transaction, Kayalar Kimya became the sole owner of the Düfa platform in Turkiye and acquired production and sales rights for the Düfa brand in Turkiye and 18 other countries.
