Sale of shares of DYO Matbaa Mürekkepleri held by Akzo Nobel to Yaşar Holding

Akzo Nobel, a global paints, coatings and specialty chemicals company, has sold its 43.5% stake in DYO Matbaa Mürekkepleri to Yaşar Group. DYO Matbaa Mürekkepleri is a Turkiye-based printing inks manufacturer with a long-standing position in the Turkish printing inks market. The company produces printing inks for a wide range of applications, including newspaper and magazine printing, offset printing, metal packaging, flexo and rotogravure printing. Yaşar Group is a diversified Turkiye-based conglomerate with activities across food and beverage, paints and coatings, tissue paper, tourism, foreign trade and energy. Through the transaction, Yaşar Group increased its ownership in DYO Matbaa Mürekkepleri, while Akzo Nobel exited its minority shareholding in the company.
