Acquisition of Sika Deteks shares held by Erksan Holding

Sika Deteks was established as a 50%-50% joint venture between Deteks and Sika Finanz AG in 1990. The company operates in the construction chemicals market, providing products and solutions used in building, infrastructure, repair, protection, bonding, sealing and related applications. Sika is a Switzerland-based specialty chemicals group active in the development and production of systems and products for bonding, sealing, damping, reinforcing and protection in the building sector and industry. Through the acquisition, Sika increased its ownership in Sika Deteks and strengthened its direct platform in the Turkish construction chemicals market.
