Buy-side advisory to Turusgaz, a Gazprom subsidiary for the acquisition of Esgaz during privatization tender

Turusgaz, a Gazprom-affiliated natural gas company, received buy-side advisory services in connection with the proposed acquisition of ESGAZ Eskişehir Doğalgaz Dağıtım A.Ş. during its privatization tender process. ESGAZ is the natural gas distribution company serving Eskişehir, a major industrial city in northwest Anatolia. The company operates the local natural gas distribution network and provides gas distribution services to residential, commercial and industrial customers in its licensed region. The privatization process formed part of Turkiye’s broader liberalization and privatization program in the natural gas distribution sector. Through the tender, Turusgaz evaluated an opportunity to enter the Turkish gas distribution market by acquiring a regulated local distribution platform with an established customer base and industrial demand profile. INHERA acted as buy-side advisor to Turusgaz in this privatization tender process.
