Sale of SFA to Frigoglass

Frigoglass, a global leader in beverage coolers and ice-cold merchandising equipment, has acquired an 86% stake in SFA Coolers, a Turkiye-based commercial refrigeration manufacturer. SFA Coolers designs and manufactures commercial refrigeration equipment, with a particular focus on beverage coolers and ice-cold merchandising solutions. The company has built a strong export-oriented platform serving international customers, especially across the brewery, dairy and juice segments. Prior to the transaction, SFA Coolers had undergone a financial restructuring process supported by the introduction of a financial investor, enabling the company to stabilize its balance sheet and preserve its industrial platform. The sale to Frigoglass represented the next step in this restructuring and value creation process, bringing SFA together with a global strategic player in commercial refrigeration. The acquisition strengthened Frigoglass’ manufacturing footprint in Turkiye and provided a platform to serve high-growth markets across Central Asia, the Middle East and surrounding regions.
